Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Octapus.AI (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit octapus.ai (the “Site”) or contact us.
1. Who we are
Octapus.AI provides custom AI consulting services. The legal entity responsible for this Site is Octapus.AI E.E., registered in Greece. For privacy questions, contact us at contact@octapus.ai.
2. Information we collect
- Information you provide: when you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company (optional), and the content of your message.
- Information collected automatically: our hosting provider may log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and reliable operation. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies, and fonts are served from the Site itself (not a third-party font CDN).
3. How we use information
We use the information you provide to respond to your inquiry, to communicate about potential or ongoing engagements, and to operate and secure the Site. We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the UK, we process your personal data on the basis of our legitimate interests (responding to inquiries and securing the Site), and/or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and/or your consent where applicable.
5. Cookies
The Site does not set tracking or advertising cookies and does not use web analytics. No cookie-consent banner is required.
6. Service providers
We rely on a small number of third parties that process data on our behalf:
- Web3Forms — receives and delivers contact-form submissions to our email inbox. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- Hosting / delivery — Papaki, a Greek web-hosting provider, hosts and serves the Site to your browser.
7. International transfers
Some providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA. Where required, appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) apply.
8. Data retention
We keep inquiry messages only as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable business records, after which we delete them. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
9. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, email contact@octapus.ai. If you are in the EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10. Children
The Site is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version.
